Reiki Healing Massage

Reiki healing is an ancient Japanese energy healing practice. Rei means “universal life” and ki means “energy”. Reiki is the universal energy that flows through all living things. The Reiki practitioner places her hands gently on or right above the client to promote the body’s natural healing response. Some benefits of Reiki are decreased anxiety, decreased stress, decreased pain, increased relaxation, and an increase in overall well being. The client remains fully clothed and lays on a massage table for the session.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic drainage massage uses very light pressure and long, gentle, rhythmic strokes to increase the flow of lymph and reduce toxins in your body.  It offers several benefits, including helping the body fight off infection and speeding up healing and recovery from illness; helping to reduce water retention; and improving the appearance of stretch marks and scars.  Lymphatic drainage can also be used to improve symptoms of lymphoedema.

Cold Stone Massage for Migraine Headaches

Cold stone massage helps address the vascular component of migraine headaches. This type of massage can work to reduce the overabundant blood flow to the head and brain during a migraine, thereby normalizing the blood flow. In doing so, the massage therapist will be reducing or removing the pounding sensation the head while helping to calm the brain. Many migraine sufferers love the feeling of the cold stones, and within a short amount of time start to feel relief.
